Le retour à la maison (Back home)

Bonjour tout le monde!

Je suis rentrée à la maison!

I'm back home. I didn't have the time to write before because I've been really busy. I spent my last day in England to back all my things and to say goodbye to my friends. Then, I travelled to Cambridge, Bath, Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Canterbury and Dover. That was lovely but I was really tired when I had to go to the airport. I left from London. Heathrow is a really big and busy airport.

When I was home, I spent a bit of time with my friends and my family. I was also my birthday! Then, I moved in a new flat in Quebec city. It was a lot a work to move all my funiture and my boxes. I just have an Internet access since last week... finally! It's why it to me so long to give you some news.

I miss Lichfield, but it's really great to be home again. Here it's already 25 degres and really sunny.

If you want to ask for a word in French you can say: Comment on dit ________ en français?

En français, on dit "chocolat" pour chocolate.

En français, on dit "bonbon" ou "sucrerie" pour sweet.

J'aime beaucoup le chocolat.

Bonjour Leah,

J'ai un ordinateur portable. Je peux l'apporter avec moi à Lichfield. Sur mon ordinateur, j'ai un clavier canadien-français. Je peux facilement écrire tous les accents.

I have a laptop. I can bring it with me to Lichfield. On my laptop, I have a French-Canadian keybord. I can easily type all the accents.

Il n'y a jamais eu d'avalanche où j'habite. Même s'il y a de la neige, il n'y a pas de montagnes près de chez moi.
